The history of Vredo Dodewaard is a fascinating journey through time and innovation. It all began in 1947 when B. de Vree, the son of a farmer, took his first steps into the world of agriculture and machinery. What started as a modest contracting business in Dodewaard quickly grew into a thriving construction company and later a fully-fledged machine factory.
The turning point came in 1976 when Vredo introduced its first self-developed machine—the overseeder that bore the name Vredo. This innovation marked the beginning of a new era for the company, transforming its approach from merely adapting machines to completely reinventing them. The overseeder laid the groundwork for further developments, including the iconic slurry injector, which revolutionized agricultural practices forever.
Over the years, Vredo has continually reinvented itself, always striving for innovation and progress. From installing manure tanks on a Horsch tricycle to creating advanced self-propelled machines, the company has consistently pushed the boundaries of what is possible in the agricultural and turf care sectors.
Today, Vredo is a global leader in agricultural and turf care machinery, with a product range that reflects decades of experience and expertise. From self-propelled machines to overseeders, each product embodies the spirit of innovation that has defined the company since its humble beginnings.
Photographer Patrick van Dijk, known as Fack_photography, meticulously documented the production process, capturing every aspect of Vredo’s history and innovations. For the opening of their new headquarters, they wanted not just inspiring decoration but also a tribute to Vredo’s heritage.
This is where Picfee came into the picture. With their unique prints on clear acrylic glass, Vredo knew they would receive not just high-quality decoration but also a fitting tribute to their legacy. The result was stunning: 10 vibrant acrylic glass prints that captured the essence of Vredo’s heritage while setting the tone for the design of their new headquarters.
What sets Picfee apart is its collaboration with visual creators like Patrick van Dijk to capture and transform these images into beautiful wall art. This not only enables the creation of unique wall decor using corporate photos but also brings a personal and authentic touch to any space.
Now, every time employees and visitors walk through Vredo’s new headquarters, they are reminded of the company’s rich history and ongoing innovation. It is more than just decoration; it is a tribute to a company that has stood the test of time and continues to strive for excellence in all that it does.
Thanks to Picfee and the unparalleled skill of Patrick van Dijk, we have not only enhanced our space but also brought a piece of Vredo’s story into the hearts of those who see it. This is something we are grateful for every day.
