At Picfee, we are always thrilled when our clients share their passion and creativity with us. Recently, we had the honor of completing a special project for Smits Vastgoedzorg in Rotterdam.

Over the past few months, we have enthusiastically worked on a unique assignment. In collaboration with photographer Marc van der Stelt of MS Fotografie, we developed and delivered a stunning permanent black-and-white photo exhibition for Smits Vastgoedzorg. This dynamic Rotterdam-based company will celebrate its 100th anniversary next year.

With ten impressive photos ranging from 100x100 cm to 170x80 cm on Dibond, we vividly captured Rotterdam's remarkable development, highlighting its prosperity and challenges. A particularly striking photo depicts the company’s first carpentry workshop in the heart of Rotterdam in 1925. This image holds special significance as the building was later destroyed during the devastating bombing of the city. Additionally, we provided all their offices with beautiful black-and-white photographs of Rotterdam.

At Picfee, we specialize in high-quality wall decorations, including photo paper on Dibond. Dibond is a sturdy, lightweight, and durable material that is ideal for showcasing photographs. The photo paper is directly mounted onto the Dibond, creating a sleek and modern appearance without distracting frames. The combination of photo paper and Dibond not only provides stunning visual quality but also ensures long-lasting protection for the images.

We also use a hidden hanging system, making the photos appear to float on the wall. This system is easy to install and provides an elegant, professional finish. The hidden hanging system subtly emphasizes the photos without visible brackets or hooks, contributing to a minimalist and sophisticated interior.

This collaboration resulted not only in a visually appealing and historical exhibition but also beautifully captured the rich history of Smits Vastgoedzorg and the city of Rotterdam. We are proud of the result and look forward to future projects where we can blend art and history.
