Sometimes things are just a little different than you think. This is a shaggy ink cap. I found it in the forest. It has burst open. But it is still a shaggy ink cap. You can see the innards. But it's still the same shaggy ink cap. And it just lives on. Because it's a shaggy ink cap. There's nothing else in it. Just a stem. you can just look inside it now.
In reality, I don't know what is happening here. I don't know anything about this mushroom bursting. I can't find anything about it either. That's why I find it quite special that I found this mushroom simply along the forest path. The shaggy ink cap is otherwise very common in the Netherlands and is not threatened. It has a white cap with scales and is edible at first, until the cap turns black and black droplets fall. These drops contain the spores for reproduction. Prefer not to eat and get edible mushrooms from the supermarket.
