This is a cloud over the Volendam harbour. The sideways light from the low-lying sun made the cloud look beautifully summery on the sunny side, and menacing and rainy on the other shadowy side. No rain fell from this cloud, of course. Directly below the cloud is a boat in the reflection in the water. In the background, part of the overgrown harbour mouth.
