When you walk through the dunes you encounter a varied landscape that has been shaped by the elements. This boom in the photo, for example, has grown very crooked and large with the direction of the strong wind. Depending on the wind direction in this photo and the serious rust from a time when the Zeeland coast was so long, the spanning Voelbaar remains visibly present in the dune landscape.
Walking in the southernmost coastal province of Zeeland is beautiful. Walcheren naturally has a lot of coast and water, but sea than that. At De Manteling (northeast of Domburg) you can also walk through a beautiful oak forest. Depending on this, the nature of the landscape along the coast depends on the known changes in Boerenland and Bossen.
