An invitation to dive into the silent sunset from the jetty. The lake lies still, the beach is deserted and the atmosphere is calm and gentle. The last vestige of colour from the setting sun prances around the horizon. An inspiring end to a relaxing day and an introduction to a fine night.
"Diving into the silent sunset from the jetty" I photographed during a soft, quiet evening at Grevelingen Lake in Zeeland, Netherlands. The setting sun remains inspiring and this evening it was all about simplicity, with only orange and yellow dominating against an increasingly dark blue sky.
"Diving into the silent sunset from the jetty" is a minimalist, long exposure photo which I took with a long shutter speed to emphasize the silence and serene atmosphere.
