Wind, clouds and exuberant colors during a sunset in the impetuous silence on the coast of Normandy in France. An evening marked by movement; one cloud after another cloud rushes by, the waves of the sea lap over the rocks in the water. And yet it is quiet. Differently quiet. The beach deserted, not a ship on the horizon, the rocks as a firm anchor in the sea.
“Impetuous silence on the coast of Normandy” is a seascape / landscape photo that I took with a slow shutter speed, which increases the dynamics in the sky. While the movement of the clouds is visible, the long exposure has actually made the water quieter.
